Now where were we ...

Today is June 29, 2021, and is about 14 years since my last post. I have been trying to get Roy to write up my words for me for years and had just about given up on telling about the places I have been and the people I have met. I am sorry if I have forgotten your names, (I am a Monkey, not an Elephant) but you will recognize your photos, I look forward to finally being able to post my stories in the coming weeks. so keep coming back to my blog on a regular basis.

I'll 'talk' to you again soon.

Up, up and away ...

When I heard that my adopted family was going to take me on a holiday, I was very excited and wasted no time packing my bag.

Arriving at Adelaide airport I dropped in to say hi to my good friends in the Coopers Shop. Before boarding our Virgin Blue flight to Sydney we had time for a banana flavoured coffee.

It was then time to head to where our plane will be boarding - then up, up, and away ... to Sydney.

Where do I start?

Where do I start? How about the beginning.

I started life in a factory somewhere in China as a soft toy monkey. I was bought, as were many more just like me, by Coopers, a family owned brewery in Adelaide, South Australia. We were all dressed in a Coopers Stout tank top type tea shirt , it is a little short but it keeps my chest warm, and sent to one of Mr Coopers shops.

Mr Cooper the boss of Coopers says Coopers Extra Stout is for "Brass Monkey" weather. I don't understand this because I am not a Brass Monkey, am I?

Anyway I ended up in Mr Coopers shop at the Adelaide Airport, with many of my Cousins.

In July 2007 Roy saw me and paid some money so he could adopt me. Since this time I have traveled with Roy and his wife Debbie and made many friends in different parts of the world.

Follow my story as I tell you in words and pictures all about my travels; the places I have been to and the people I have met.
